Skilled Nursing is referred to as care being provided by a licensed nurse. Skilled nursing is usually available at a skilled nursing facility or someone’s private residence. It is less costly to treat a client in their home, however, it can be just as effective as the one provided at a hospital or a skilled nursing facility.
Research has proven that when skilled we nursing can be made available at home, it benefits the patient in numerous ways. For instance, while hospitals may offer acute care and relief of symptoms, home care focuses on more ongoing care in a secure and familiar environment in the meantime, a patient can return to their daily activities. Skilled nursing in someone’s private residence can serve as a continuity of care maintaining the same level of knowledge.

Among the things we offer are:

•  Medical Assessments and Monitoring: Conducting comprehensive physical exams. Monitoring vital signs and patient health status. Assessing changes in patient conditions and reporting to physicians.
•  Medication Management: Administering medications and treatments prescribed by a physician. Managing IVs, injections, and other medication delivery systems. monitoring patients for side effects and drug interactions.
• Wound Care: Cleaning and dressing wounds. Monitoring for signs of infection. Implementing advanced wound care techniques when necessary.
•  Chronic Disease Management: Educating patients and families on managing chronic illnesses. Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans for conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and COPD. Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
•  Post-Surgical Care: Monitoring recovery progress. Managing pain and other post-operative symptoms. Educating patients and families on post-surgical care routines.
